What the app reads

EasyCopyPaste reads the contents of your system clipboard (NSPasteboard) to keep a local history. This includes:

Safari

• Text you copy
• Images you copy
• A reference to the app the content was copied from, so you can see that an item came from, say, Safari

The app uses Apple's standard pasteboard API and does not bypass any system protection.

What the app stores

Your history of copied items is stored only on your device, inside the app's sandbox container. It consists of a JSON file plus PNG files for images, and you can inspect or delete it at any time. You control how many items are kept (5, 10, 20, or 50) in Settings.

What is sent over the network

Nothing. EasyCopyPaste has no network entitlement and makes no network requests whatsoever.

Permissions

EasyCopyPaste requests no special system permissions. It does not use Accessibility, screen recording, input monitoring, the camera, the microphone, or location.

The only optional setting is “Launch at login”, which registers the app to start automatically via SMAppService. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Apple

Universal Clipboard

If you copy something on a paired iPhone or iPad and your device receives it through Apple's Universal Clipboard, that content lands on the system pasteboard like any other item, and EasyCopyPaste records it in your local history. The transfer itself is handled entirely by Apple — the app is not involved.

Children's data

EasyCopyPaste is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children — or from anyone, in fact, because we do not collect data at all.

Third parties

The app includes no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no crash reporters, and no advertising frameworks.

Changes to this policy

If we ever begin collecting any data, we will update this policy and the App Store listing first. As of the effective date above, we collect nothing.
